# OZE Bookings (bookings.oze.au)

> A direct booking system for Australian motels, boutique resorts, holiday flats and cabins, by Colin Dixon (oze.au), Mallacoota, Victoria. Pricing is by quote.

## What it does
- Room types with inventory counts, and physical door allocation at check-in with clash detection.
- Dynamic pricing: seasons, weekend loadings, Australian public and school holidays, minimum stays, 50 cent rounding.
- Deposits (first night, percentage, fixed or none), balance tracking and tiered cancellation refunds.
- Stripe hosted checkout with webhooks; unpaid checkouts release the room; one-click refunds.
- Front desk portal: 1 or 2 week occupancy grid, vacancies, unallocated arrivals, printable run sheets.
- Nightly backups, an offline pack of upcoming arrivals, emergency cards and paper booking catch-up.

## Live demo
- [Gabo Island Resort Lodge](https://girl.oze.au/): a fictional 50-room resort on the real Gabo Island that runs on OZE Bookings. No accommodation is sold; payments run in Stripe test mode.
